Cuisine Diplomacy What the General was served! It was cuisine diplomacy from the word Go! 14 July - Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi Luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Atal Behari Chef Hemant Oberoi made a last minute addition to the following menu when he learnt that the General's favourite dish was 'daal gosht' (mutton cooked with lentils). Appetisers makhmali murg ke tikke dariya ke ratan (charcoal-broiled pickled tiger prawns) chaamp-e-Lucknowi (kid lamb chops flavoured with herbs and spices) and machhli tukda followed by badam bahar Main Courses sali boti(sweet and spicy boneless mutton), safed badami murg (chicken in almond paste and yoghurt gravy), guchchi palak, nizam-e-bahar, and kulchas. And the General's favourite - dal gosht Desserts General's comments: ''Bahut umda''
